Gluten-Free Hot Cereal

Quaker Oats, for example, now offers a gluten free 100% whole grain oat cereal that takes just 1 minute cooking time and it ranks right up there in taste, consistency and quality that you have come to expect in a bowl of oatmeal. Here is their package recipe.

Ingredients:
Stove Top:
GF Oats 1/2cup
Water or milk 1 cup
Salt (optional) dash
1. Bring water or milk to a boil
2. Stir in oats
3. Cook about 1 minute over medium
Microwave:
GF Oats 1 cup
Water or milk 1 3/4 cup
Salt 1/8 tsp

Preparation:

  1. Combine water or milk in a medium microwave-safe bowl
  2. Microwave on HIGH 1 1/2 to 2 minutes
  3. Stir before serving

Condiments: Honey, Brown Sugar, Milk, Butter
