Satisfying a Multi Choice Gluten Free Appetite

Gluten-Free Grilled Steak

Comment: What more traditional meal is there than steak & potato to satisfy an appetite any time of the day morning, noon or night? Steak & eggs, steak & fries, steak & salad, steak & spaghetti. You name the combination and savor the results but for this recipe our combo is with baked potatoes and stir-fry vegetables.

Cooking time:
10-15 minutes steak, 5 minutes vegetables

Serves:

Ingredients:
2 10 ounce Strip Sirloin Steaks
2 medium-large baking potatoes
2 cups stir-fry vegetables
1 tsp butter or Margarine
1 tbls olive oil
Salt, pepper and garlic powder

Preparation:

  1. Prepare outside grill or oven grill using slotted grill pan cover.
  2. Prepare steaks by sprinkling them with salt, pepper and garlic powder and a brush olive oil and time your grilling to coincide with the cooking of the vegetables.
  3. Place potatoes in micro for maximum 20 minutes. Check periodically and when done, wrap in alum foil to stay hot until ready to use.

 

Condiments: A1 Steak Sauce, Hot Pepper Flakes, Sour Cream, Hot Sauce, Extra Olive Oil, Vinegar, Butter/Margarine

Sides: Fresh Green Salad, Rice Pilaf
